Adi Alfa is a multi award winning actress and experienced presenter from Liverpool. She always had a love of being on stage from the age of 5. She was awarded a merit of excellence for her Performing Arts A Level and then went on to gain a 2.1 in Drama and English at Liverpool John Moores University.
Adi is very much an independent young lady, having spent all of her childhood in foster care, she self funded a 6month trip across the globe and gained valuable life experiences as well as respecting and appreciating different cultures. She also moved herself to London nearly 3 years ago to further her acting career. Since moving to London, Adi's acting career has escalated quickly giving her 5 award nominations and two wins in the past two years.
As an actress in the industry over the past seven and a half years, Adi found that there were limited roles for her-self, being a black British actress. With that in mind she took it upon herself to use her creative literacy skills and create her own stories and film. Now currently filming her first fully funded kick starter film, Til Death, as the writer, producer and co-director Adi is happy to have the create freedom to explore deeper female experiences.
Adi is also a presenter and host, having hosted a variety of music events and shows, Adi's niche is definitely music as it is a passion of hers and so a lot of her work centres around this. From the personal experience of speaking one on one with artists to standing on a stage and conversing with the audience, Adi is at home when she's presenting/on stage.
Adi has hosted music events such as Pick n Mix Live, Fame3000, and now musique where you can catch her every month with the Musique team hosting the live event. This autumn Adi travelled to North California, USA to film the action packed movie, Jackson Bolt staring Fred Williamson and straight out of Compton star R. Marcus Taylor. Whilst there, she impressed so much that she was asked to film additional scenes for two other movies, Chrome 45 and short film, Red Wine.
After nearly seven years as a professional artist its safe to say her drive and ambition is relentless and we don't see her slowing down anytime soon.
